"Paths of the Torrances" based on Kubrick’s "The Shining" print is for sale at g1988.  After the dense LOTR map, it was nice to open it up bit and highlight the isolation of that road to Sidewinder. Joan Miro is a huge influence and I obviously took some big cues, but tried to skewed it towards sinister.  It was kind of a big change but it’s one of my favorites.

I know Stephen King doesn’t like it, but damn - it’s a gorgeous movie.

Jack in yellow, Danny in white, Wendy in light blue, Dick Hallorann in blue, Stuart Ullman in brown, Bill Watson in grey.

Larger version of “Paths of True Love” and some details, inspired by Rob Reiner’s masterpiece, “The Princess Bride”.  Loved playing with the Florin vs. Guilder, red vs. blue theme. The original is off to a good and loving home, but there are still some 16 x 20 prints left at g1988.  Sarandon, Guest, Patinkin, Shawn, Elwes, Wright, Crystal, Kane, Giant… What a movie. So many great scenes: ambidextrous sword fighting, albino jogging, eel shrieking …
